The Phi Kappa Theta fraternity at Georgia Institute of Technology is hosting their second-annual “Extra Life for Kids” video game marathon. These fifteen gamers will raise per-hour and fixed-donation sponsorships and attempt to play console and computer games non-stop for 36 hours in an effort to raise funds for Children’s Miracle Network.
They're also hosting an online t-shirt drive through their website extralifeforkids.com
I think this is one of the coolest ideas around, and if you're able, you should drop a donation their way. The Children's Miracle Network is a non-profit organization that focuses on a number of childhood diseases. Their brings results so you can feel confident that your donation will actually mean something.
Thanks.
