Just in time for summer...

Okay, there are only two facts that can be concrete from seeing the video I've taken some screen captures of here:

#1: Nobody can prove that it was a Carcharodon Megalodon just from seeing a gigantic shark off the South African coast for a few minutes. It could just be one really damn big great white (Carcharodon Carcharias). Since many paleontologists believe that the Megalodon isn't exactly the same genus of shark as a great white, and the fact that the monster swimming by the cage looked exactly like one, there are conflicting views about it's exact lineage. After all, the Megalodon is supposed to have been dead for a long time. The closest it could have been alive from even the edge of possible fossil record is 12,000 years ago. (Of course, the Megamouth Shark was supposed to be extinct too)

#2: That is one really big shark. (Estimates range between 40-55 feet) I hope they aren't attracted to urine in the water.
