Five hundred and fifty.

That's all I hear about nowadays. It's amazing how a select few can motivate millions into a rage over five hundred and fifty. It's not like the five hundred and fifty really mattered to anyone before they were told to.

It's not like you hear a thunderous public outcry for the 512 bumpkins who killed themselves in Alabama last year, or the 737 who died from "accidental firearms accidents" in that ass-backwards hick state.* Of course you don't. Who cares about these people? They don’t affect your daily lives…and more importantly the News Media doesn't complain about those truly tragic deaths every damn day.

Turn on CNN, FOX, ABC, CBS...you name it. All you hear is this chant "get our boys and girls out of there!". Like it's some kind of slaughter. As if there is some Vietnam-era massacre of our American soldiers being played out before our eyes.

Oh the horror!

The United State Armed Forces are the people picking up the slack for all of us slackers. They are the tools we are using to systematically rid this world of those who would hinder our way of life.

We do this kind of work with bombs, bullets, and blood.

Wake up from your bleeding heart daydream and help us. We are the American people. We are fighting for something that is right. We've been so whitewashed into multiculturalism and ethnic tolerance that we seem to have forgotten that we're better than they are.

Yeah, that's right. You can say it. You know it's true.

Do you know what the Saudi's do for entertainment of Friday nights? They host decapitation events. These punishments are for crimes like homosexuality, pre-marital sex, and free speech.

What do we do with our Gays, horny teenagers and loud mouths? We give them television shows on Friday nights.

They celebrate every time one of their zealots straps a bomb to his chest and walks into a Jewish Synagogue. They gather money -- like a martyr jackpot -- around the immediate communities of those who committed such crimes. This money is given to the families for this great deed that the terrorists have done. These people sing in the streets at the sign on American deaths and despair. They honor their radical terrorists with shelter, power, and prestige.

We socially ostracize our religious fanatics. We make them hole up in encampments and live out a solitary life where they can rot with their gospels and feed on their conspiracy theories. We make them outcasts, and shun them from the American way of life.

They live in the land where higher math was created. This is also the land where people live in either royal opulence or squalor. No in-between. All this and they have the #1 resource this entire planet is addicted to.

This is also the land that drove western discovery forward. Christopher Columbus was sent to find a way around the Middle East for the Queen of Spain. There was no grand scheme of Christianity or exploration. They didn't wanna deal with these people any more. They didn't want to because they are the dogs of the earth.

Read your history people. Learn where we have come from and maybe you can see where you are standing right now.

I'm sorry we live in a culture where we have convinced ourselves that acceptance is the rule over common sense. I'm sorry we live in a world that wants to invite this way of life into our own, and make it part of the norm.

I'm sorry people, I think free speech, women's rights, freedom of religion, freedom to do what you want, and be who you want MAKES US BETTER THAN THEM.

I'll take freedom over tyranny any day, and if 550 American soldiers are dying to remove people from power who propagate this way of life -- then so be it. Do you understand how incredibly stupid you sound when you freak out about 550 people who glady laid down their lives in the protection of your ability to live as a fat, arrogant, American?

Do you understand that 2,400 homeless people -- that's right Americans you don't even give a rats ass about -- nearly five times the amount of people you're screaming about die each year in the US from freezing to death?!

Put that into perspective people. We throw away 5 times as many Americans by indifference each year. These people aren't protecting our rights. They're not fighting an enemy. They're begging for your change, and you can't spare the time to keep them from dying in dumpsters because you really want that snazzy new DVD player.

American soldiers are dying every day so we can bitch and complain just like we do everyday. I like that we killed 6000+ in this campaign. I think we hold back too much to keep people like Germany from getting a wrinkle in their bratwurst.

I think we seem to have forgotten the hundreds of thousands of American soldiers who shed their blood all over this ungrateful planet in an effort to sustain this way of life. The way of life every other country in this world aspired to emulate -- until they saw how sniveling and whiny we were at times like these.

Who cares if you disagree with a political leader? You should understand that this generation has to eliminate this religious fanaticism, or we're doomed. You should understand that we're trying to snuff out the people who teach this behavior. A behavior that tells a sweet, innocent child in Islamabad that killing an American is okay because God likes it.

Oh, and he'll give you 72 virgins if you do it while killing yourself, little boy.

Come on people, you would jump on the chance to kill a modern Hitler if we had one in this generation!! Well, guess what? We do. His name is indifference and he kills slowly, painfully, and with precision.

Indifference is what creates hate. It's what creates this kind of behavior. It is this kind of inhumanity, that should be removed from humanity.

And we'll have to kill a lot more than 550 of them to do it.
