The Miami Beach, Florida board of education reassigned a high school science teacher after he bet one of his students twenty bucks to jump out a second story window. I'm shocked! Shocked that this story didn't make bigger news -- it's hilarious!

Police are now investigating high school science teacher Yrvan Tassy Jr. Apparently Mr. Tassy bet the student that if the kid made the jump he’d be injured from the fall. The kid said he’d be fine so took the bet, jumped, and landed on his feet without a scratch.

Tough week for Tassy. Loses his job, and a twenty-dollar bet.

Lawyers for the teacher say the jump was perfectly harmless since the kid was a senior. Then again it’s Miami Beach, Florida. Everyone’s a senior. I’d would have wagered he’d at least break a hip, but go figure.
